Welcome to the Mosman Council Compost Revolution tutorial, your online, step-by-step guide to composting and wormfarming. Composting and wormfarming is easy to do and prevents the wasteful transport of food scraps to landfill where they produce harmful greenhouse gases. You can halve your rubbish and return vital nutrients to the soil to grow your veggies.
The Compost Revolution began as a community initiative in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney that promotes home composting, growing food locally and connecting with your neighbours. Now residents of Mosman can become a part of this amazing project. By joining the Compost Revolution residents of Mosman can receive a compact worm farm (Vermi Hut) or a compost bin (220L) at cost price. The first 50 people to join the Compost Revolution will also receive either a pack of worm farm blankets or a compost stirrer. Simply complete either the worm farming or compost tutorial and quiz on this website to receive your gift.
A free worm farm and compost demonstration will be held at Mosman's Big Lunch on Sunday 28 October.
