关于堆肥革命
堆肥革命能让澳大利亚人轻松在家将食物残渣变成肥沃土壤和液体肥料并且减少送去填埋的垃圾量。因为普通澳洲家庭扔的垃圾约一半都是可用于堆肥的有机物质，所以使用家庭堆肥系统能显著地减少我们送去填埋的垃圾量。它也能减小我们对气候变化的影响，因为食物残渣在填埋时会分解释放有害的温室气体。
Revolution Apps是一个社会参与的行动，它运营着线上的堆肥革命、并与澳大利亚各地的地方市议会协作为居民提供他们在家成功修建堆肥箱或蠕虫农场的器材和技能。
堆肥革命是由地方市议会发起的社区活动，旨在减少生活垃圾填埋在环境和经济方面的负面影响。在2009年，悉尼东部的三个郊区（Waverley, Randwick and Woollahra）在新州EPA的资助下启动了一个先行项目。Revolution Apps与这些市议会合作在2011年将本项目扩展到了全国。

我能获得蠕虫农场、堆肥箱和自制厨余堆肥箱吗？
当然可以！使用此类单个产品或产品组合的效果都很好，因为它们各有优点。如果您有蠕虫农场或堆肥箱，则与自制厨余堆肥箱配套使用的效果尤其好。
如果我不需要新的堆肥箱或蠕虫农场，我可以参加堆肥革命吗？

It's never too early to nurture a love for nature, waste minimisation and gardening!
Gardening and sustainability programs are popping almost everyday at schools and early education centres across Australia. Some are even part of the curriculum! What better way to educate students on the fun, beauty, and responsibility of the cycle of life than by teaching them how to recycle food scraps into soil and fertiliser through composting and worm farming?
Schools across the Brimbank LGA are entitled to purchase multiple discounted systems and accessories. Just contact [email protected] – or click the chat bot on the bottom right of your screen – for advice on the best equipment for you and a quote.
Scraps for Schools
We will donate 10% to your school's gardening program whenever families join the program and enter your coupon code. It's that simple!
Here's how it works
1. Nominate your school. (Be sure to chat with the principal or a gardening champion at your school to get their ok.)
2. Email us at [email protected] to get a custom coupon code and flyer to track donations.
3. Spread the word around your school! Get the flyer into the school newsletter, send flyers home with students, post it up in classrooms and hallways, and contact your local newspaper. Most councils are happy to provide schools with printed flyers.
Every 3 months we tally up the amount of orders and provide a credit for composting gear to your school.
